E.L.S.E. A revolutionary product.

E.L.S.E (Emergency Lighting Solution for Emergencies) is the brand new product from us.

Here is our product.

Our prototype solves a major problem of lighting in dark areas. due to the earthquakes destroying most powerlines, lighting is not possible. and especially at night, it can be very difficult for medical personal to see where survivors are. and while flashlights, and flares do exist, they both don't last very long, and aren't reusable at times. So, our invention solves this problem by being long lasting (9-80 hrs.) in one use and, bioluminescence cartridges are reusable, allowing for multiple uses at during a period of time. Our invention can be used for much more than just disasters, as it can be a lifesaver for cavers, and people who are exposed to dark areas for long periods of time.

What was our process?

Our first idea was that of a glowstick. where instead of usual chemicals, we used bioluminessence. But, the one issue we found with it was that it wasn't reusable, so we had to move on.

Our second step

Our second idea was to make a chemistry kit. With each seperate ingredient being a part of a kit. However, we soon realized that it would be hard to use, and transport, so we ditched the idea.

Our Final prospect

For our final idea, we came up with an idea for a flair of sorts. combing the best parts of both the kit, and the glowstick, we created a reusable, portable, and easy to use.

How can we improve on our prototype?

While our device is mostly optimized, their are issues here and their. With the most glaring being the fact that their is no way to actually remove the canisters once they have been used.
